Hello and Welcome!  

Studio Archibene * is a full-service architecture and design firm based in Durham, North Carolina. Our design services include the full range of project delivery, from Advanced Planning, Programming, and Stakeholder Engagement to Design, Documentation, and Construction Administration. Working with individual clients, organizations, and communities, we co-create built environments that bring people together around shared experiences.  

 

Studio Archibene was born of a commitment to doing good for humanity through the practice of architecture. A leading objective of our architecture is to foster in those who experience it a better understanding of self and respect for others. These aspirations are rooted in the lived experiences of our founders, Foad Faizi and Kenneth Luker. Foad and Kenneth come from opposite sides of the earth with vastly different backgrounds and experiences and yet discovered they share common values for design and the responsibility of good design in the service of humanity. This led them to appreciate the transformative value of environments that bring people together while also fostering tolerance and understanding. After years of collaboration and design leadership with other firms, they formed their own studio to focus more closely on the work that inspires us most – Architecture for Good.

 

Today, Foad and Kenneth lead a studio of talented designers and architects committed to creating architecture that strengthens communities and inspires us all to believe in a better tomorrow.
